and sometimes, she draws things

today’s warmup: timed portrait of OkayOphelia because I saw this picture of her in a flower crown just looked like a beautiful, wild pagan goddess and I fell in love with that idea
it’s still pretty rough and her right eye is bugging me but I’m kind of happy with this anyway, can’t put my finger on why.
anyway if you enjoy well written meta and lovely prose go follow her you won’t regret it!

still super rough and clearly not done yet, but posting anyway since it’s already late (in my time zone, at least). Happy birthday, Jensen!
kicking off Sketchuary with a Sammy. should have picked a bigger reference photo. blargh.
wow tumblr you’re really going to make me convert to a shitty jpg to upload? you’re going to do this to me? :(

I might come back to this later, but for now I’m going to call it done and move on to something else.
and some Frank Zappa to round out the evening
welp. I was saving this for tomorrow but since you’ve already seen it, I might as well post it early!
fixed some things and changed the colors around on a portrait of Sam from a couple of months ago.

probably won’t have time to post much new stuff until after the holidays, or at least until I finish this 50 hour work week. :(
Well, you know me.  Always happy to bleed for the Winchesters.

deconstruction-junction:

some progress caps of what was supposed to be a simple line portrait of Richard Speight Jr but kind of got away from me at some point.

I’m kind of proud of myself in that it was all drawn with one brush and, with the exception of the sketch layer, one color and opacity. glad the touch sensitivity of my tablet decided to cooperate.

also I might be a bit drunk. so double points? or maybe I just need to be a little drunk when I draw more often because I don’t think I could have handled the tedium of hand drawing all that stubble otherwise.

apparently I shouldn’t be a little drunk when I POST the art, though, because then I put it on the WRONG DAMNED BLOG. ARGH! as the watermark indicates, this should have been on my art blog, LikeTheOceanInWinter

another character from the same abandoned story as the last OC.

I should probably pick that back up and do something with it other than doodling. oh well.
